William Best
With his urban edge, provoking higher frequency consciousness, this west coast emcee delivers street insights with slashing metaphors.
Jade Eugene Williams was born in Culver City, California on October 16th, 1982, the son of Jerry Luis Williams and Jackie Marie Donnell. As a pre-teen, living in Pomona, Ca., Jade’s father was shot during a robbery while protecting his mother.
This incident led the family to relocate to the overrun, gang-infested streets of South Los Angeles. Adapting to Los Angeles’ gang culture, Jade became a member of the Rollin 60’s Crip Gang at the age of 14, under the moniker of Tall Cuzz. Attending Crenshaw High, Jade became a teen father at the age of 17. After having his daughter, forced to mature, he began to tap into his other interests.
